Sinistar shirt from Williams development team sold on ebay
A quick post today, this past week a Sinistar shirt sold on ebay for $25. What a grabbing headline right? Well, this shirt was one of 25-30 that were made in a limited run for the original Sinistar development team while they were still at Williams. That’s a little better. The shirt was worn, had some light discoloration, but the important thing is the story that came along with it.

Rare Version Eagle Arcade Game
Two months ago a user at Coinopspace.com – Arcade Community & Forum mentioned that they owned a ‘prototype’ version of Centuri’s Eagle, a different version of the cabinet that was more rare than the final version which has vinyl sideart. Come to find out there is a photo on Klov.com and at Arcadeflyers.com of the same cabinet, which the latter flyer picture might explain the follow story and information a little bit better.
Hey hey, Klov forums got an upgrade
Over the last couple of weeks it felt like it was actually going to happen and today the Klov forums finally got an upgrade bringing their forum technology out of 1999 into modern day functionality. This is a pretty significant change, and I applaud Mark M. for what was a tremendous amount of work. Are the forums better though, here’s what I think.
Coinopspace.com temporarily down
I was trying to finalize the www.coinopspace.com setup so that the old classicarcades.ning.com address no longer would work by itself, but would redirect. I seem to have broken something.
Reproduction Smash TV control panel overlay artwork
Big fan of Smash TV? I will say that I am a pretty big fan of the cabinet artwork, even though the gameplay isn’t my cup of tea. After a year of patiently waiting and revising, Mamemarquees.com just finished color matching the artwork for the Smash TV reproduction control panel overlays and they are now ready for sale.
Major Havoc – Make your own levels
For huge Major Havoc buffs, everyone knows Own Rubin the creator and a lot of guys who got into collecting the game over the past 10 years got to know Jess Askey. Jess Askey has spent the better part of ten years taking the original code for Major Havoc, modifying the original gameplay and adding his own levels. (Don’t believe me, check out his volume of Major Havoc posts at Vectorlist)
The most recent generation of guys know Jeff Kulczycki for his Donkey Kong 2 levels, but as best I understand it, Jess’s level additions to Major Havoc are similar but took place in a time where the hobby was relegated to more simple communication systems. Jess released his Major Havoc modifications under the title Major Havoc: Return to Vax a few years back and is now looking to enlist the average MH enthusiast to contribute to another version of the gameplay.
