Coinopspace chat with Steve Wiebe a success

Last night on Coinopspace.com Steve Wiebe dropped by for over an hour and a half to chat live(longer than expected) with members at the site. Although the chat was hardly perfect or smooth at times, it was a success in many ways….the most important being that over 35 individual members questions were answered live by Steve and over 90 members attended the chat.

I had no idea this site was down, but a reader mentioned this to me today. Appears as if Jeff didn’t renew his domain, which could be bad news….

Steve Wiebe (King of Kong) Live Chat

The latest in my series of live chat sessions at Coinopspace.com, Steve Wiebe is going to be joining us on April 15th 2009. The only requirement to chat with Steve is to be a member of the website and you can ask any respectful question you want.

King of Kong Movie Poster

Getting ready to draft a promotional release on Steve hasn’t been easy, and I certainly was a bit naive and tremendously lucky when he agreed to do the session. Instead of repeating everything that everyone already knows about Steve – He worked for Boeing, he’s a math teacher and all the details surrounding his many attempts, I thought I’d share a little bit into my own timeline in arranging a chat session. Certainly the more interesting insights have the potential to be revealed when the fans get to connect with him in real time.

Artwork for the A.P.B. seat – A simple but rare item

Late last night Francis gave me a ring and asked if I could do my vector magic on the decals that go on the seat sides of an A.P.B. arcade game. I’m not too familiar with the game, and just assumed the artwork was complex enough that I wouldn’t be able to look at it until May, when classes were done. The artwork was extremely simple, however, and in an hour I was done.

Rock Ola sideart decal really finished

After 8 months of waiting, I finally got some final dimensions for the vector Rock Ola logo, so now that sticker artwork for a number of classic Rock Ola games including Demon is finished. Here are the sizes as an FYI.
