Bringing back the “Arcade away from home” Part 1

Somehow in the span of a month I managed to double the size of my arcade, the only problem was all of the machines were in Chicago. In March and April I found a Mad Planets for $50, my white Mr. Do! and another game that I hope to be sharing about by Sunday and somehow I had to get them back home.

Pengo control panel overlay reproductions are coming.

It’s been a long time in process, much like most projects like the Agent X artwork and the D2K (Donkey Kong 2) artwork, but very soon we should have Pengo control panel overlays for purchase and here is a little progress update as well as a little bit about the beginning of the story.

Video playback of my now working Hyperball

I just had to share this. Within a short time, and with minimal effort the Hyperball that I brought home on Thursday night is now up and running. Not everything is perfect, I still need to find a blown fuse probably for the backglass lights, but I now have a working pinball in my possession.

Holee Crap! I got 3 Pinball Machines for $50 each

I do feel like luck has been on my side lately. First, there was that Mad Planets in Chicago that sat on Craigslist all day that I ended up getting for $50. Then, less than a week later, I had another amazing find fall into my lap (which I hope to write about in June), and then tonight I picked up a Galaxy, Hyperball and Flight 2000 for $150.

Somebody had better snatch this up quick quick. A slightly buggy, but complete Gyruss for $90 on Craigslist in Upper Arlington, a suburb of Columbus right by OSU.
