WordPress Commenting Plugin Intense Debate and the ownership of comments discussion

This started out innocent enough today. I recently started to use Intense Debate for my comment moderation on this website, and quickly found out when I went to add an image link in the admin to my own comment that there is no ‘edit’ link. In WordPress, you can edit comments as needed, so I thought surely this was a mistake and / or a bug. Turns out, that is hardly the truth. This topic is targeted to those new bloggers who read this site and some things to think about when it comes to users comments.

Looking for photos of a DECO Burgertime

I posted at Coinopspace.com and BYOAC’s forums looking to see if anyone has ever seen a DECO Burgertime in the wild with sideart.

Transcript from Jeff Kulczycki (Donkey Kong 2) chat at Coinopspace.com

Back in March Jeff Kulczycki stopped by Coinopspace for a live chat with arcade collectors and specifically Donkey Kong fans. Jeff Kulczycki spent about an hour and a half detailing his decisions during the development of D2K (Donkey Kong 2). It was interesting to hear Jeff talk about his passion for Donkey Kong, the decisions he made in preserving the original gameplay, and what games might be next for similar treatment with new levels.

Sold the Pac-man, Space Invaders and Ms. Pac-man

Posted last night a Pac-man and Space Invaders were delivered to the house. This morning everything went according to plan, a newer collector out of Cincinnati area Ohio came over and bought both of them and my Ms. Pac-man, barely fitting all three in the back of a F-150.

Photos of Atari’s Gauntlet prototype cabinet

Today at 3pm EST is the live chat with Alan Murphy, who worked on Gauntlet while at Atari. At Coinopspace.com he actually shared some photos of the original on site Gauntlet test cabinet, which he owns due to a little luck.

Another Pac-man and Space Invaders Deluxe dropped by

The middle of week plans formed, and plans changed. This meant that all of a sudden a Pac-man and Space Invaders Deluxe would be making an appearance at the house. Didn’t I just get rid of a Pac-man arcade game here in Indy? Sigh. The plan is though that these two won’t be around for long.
