Arcade Artwork
Rally-X overlay separations finished
Over Christmas I had time that I was able to vectorize the Rally-X control panel overlay artwork. I knew that once school started, I probably wouldn’t get back to the color separations until May. Instead, I finished them this week knowing that there were probably a couple of other pieces that I’d like to do in that downtime. (more…)
A.P.B Sideart, CPO & Marquee Reproductions
I almost missed this a day ago, but Steven P. posted on Coinopspace.com preview image of his vectorization / reproduction progress on A.P.B artwork. For over a year he’s been consistently working on the details of the control panel overlay, marquee and sideart. A tremendous undertaking, here is one of those preview images from the thread. (more…)
Artwork for the A.P.B. seat – A simple but rare item
Late last night Francis gave me a ring and asked if I could do my vector magic on the decals that go on the seat sides of an A.P.B. arcade game. I’m not too familiar with the game, and just assumed the artwork was complex enough that I wouldn’t be able to look at it until May, when classes were done. Rock Ola sideart decal really finished

I have only heard or seen these Mr. Do! cabinets in New York, or in Massachusetts (and one in California that was hauled back many miles) so to see one come up on eBay for a relatively cheap price I knew it was now or never. Short update on the Cheyenne artwork project
This has been going on for a long time, hasn’t it? Last time I posted back in Sept. 2008, way I had a Cheyenne artwork update that basically said – no new news. In order for Brian Jones to print a set of this artwork, set = both sides, he needs scans of the left piece of sideart. I am sure by now, it’s probably disheartening to him that no one has offered to scan their cabinet. But we’ve heard consistent rumblings from guys that want to see this project done and a couple new developments have happened this week. (more…)
Mad Planets underlay artwork progress
I’ve had little bits of time here and there, some in the hospital, where I was able to work on vectorizing the Mad Planets artwork that is under the control panel facing forward, which I’m referring to as the ‘Underlay’ to keep it simple. However, with my $50 Mad Planets Craigslist deal last week, it appears that I don’t ‘have’ to finish this artwork. But I like the game enough that I may…. (more…)
