NOS Sega Pengo sideart arrives

I didn’t think that the artwork would arrive so soon, but the Pengo sideart arrived on my doorstep this afternoon. Hans came across these two pieces of NOS right side Pengo artwork in Chicago and posted about them on Klov a couple days back. I was lucky enough to get a hold of them. (Warning 😉 token canned food NOS arcade artwork photo ahead)

But I was wrong. Today Paul put the Ms. Pac-man stencil files that he built using scanned art, traced and fabricated from scratch, online at Local Arcade.com.

Cheyenne Reproduction Artwork Update

All parties directly involved with the Cheyenne sideart reproductions feel like it might be worthwhile to explore having the scanned artwork printed with a solvent inkjet printer because of the complexity of the illustration. Can the artwork be vectorized? Certainly. It is a more question of what the owner wants. (more…)
