Midway Mappy Kickplate Artwork
After I finished up with the final details of the Atari Football reproduction sideart, that freed me up to tackle a much smaller project, Goro and Mappy artwork for the Mappy kickplate (Here are some small images of both of them). Eventually, This Old Game will do reproductions of these characters and they are simple enough that over the course of last night and tonight I was able to vectorize both. (more…)
Atari Football XO Separations Finished
Since I just wrote less than 24 hours ago on finishing the Atari Football XO sideart vectors, I won’t get into too much detail here. I finished the color separations, bleeds and all – here is the breakdown of those colors shown with the black artwork overlaid on top. (more…)

Request for photos of Two-Bits Pac-man artwork
Continuing on with arcade artwork comparisons and reviews, I am looking for photos of any piece of reproduction Pac-man artwork that you have bought from Two-Bits. Here are some ideas of artwork that I am looking for;
- Pac-man Cabaret – Marquee, control panel overlay, monitor bezel
- Pac-man Cocktail – Glass underlay, control panel overlays
- Pac-man Upright – Marquee, control panel overlays, kickplate, sideart, monitor bezel glass
Ms. Pac-man bezel differences
I had made a formal request for photos of anyone who has bought a Two-Bits reproduction Ms. pac-man glass bezel so I could do a comparison of the original verses the re-print, kind of like I did for the Ms. Pac-man marquee artwork comparison. The photos are in, and the post won’t be nearly as long, but here are some of the differences. (more…)
Scramble Control Panel Repros
In the middle of April, a collector contacted me about a reproduction assignment involving control panels for Stern’s classic arcade game Scramble. You might say, “Didn’t Arcade Renovations already reproduce Scramble control panels?” They did. But he did some checking around and every indication told him that they hadn’t been done, so I just went with the flow. (more…)
